Elizabeth “Betsy” Martin is an experienced estate planning attorney who has served the Triangle community for over a decade. After founding Betsy Martin Law, PLLC in 2014, she joined Reznik Law in 2025, where she continues to focus on estate planning and administration, while also dedicating time to community service and nonprofit work.

Orly Reznik, JD, LLM
Orly Reznik is the founding attorney of Reznik Law, PLLC, where she focuses on estate planning and business succession planning. With a strong background in both business and estate law, Orly has helped countless families and small business owners navigate complex legal matters, ensuring their legacies are protected and their businesses have effective succession plans in place. Her work includes drafting Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and healthcare planning documents tailored to each client's unique needs.

Orly holds a Master's in Tax Law and is a Board-Certified Estate Planning Specialist through the North Carolina State Bar, qualifications that enhance her ability to provide in-depth, strategic advice on both estate and tax-related matters. She graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 2007, earning her law degree with honors, after completing her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, also with honors. Orly began her legal career at Archer & Greiner, P.C., in New Jersey, before relocating to North Carolina in 2009. In North Carolina, she served as in-house counsel for a real estate management company, providing legal support across various business operations. Later, she shifted her focus to estate planning and business law, where she has made a significant impact.

Orly is passionate about continuing her professional growth and is committed to offering her clients the best possible legal solutions. Outside of her practice, she is deeply involved in her community and continuing legal studies. She lives in Cary, NC with her husband and two children and enjoys volunteering and participating in local organizations, including the school PTA and the Carlina Lily chapter of the National Charity League. Orly will graduate in May 2025 with her Master’s of Law in Elder Law.

Betsy Martin, JD
Elizabeth “Betsy” Martin is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience in various areas of law, including civil litigation, family law, corporate law, appellate law, and estate planning. A graduate of UNC School of Law in 2002, Betsy began her legal career by clerking at the NC Court of Appeals, gaining valuable insight into the appellate process. Afterward, she practiced across multiple legal disciplines before focusing her practice on estate planning, an area where she found her true calling. In 2014, Betsy founded Betsy Martin Law, PLLC, and spent the next decade building a trusted estate planning practice that served the Triangle community.

In 2025, Betsy joined Reznik Law, continuing her work in estate planning and administration while leveraging her broad legal background to provide clients with comprehensive, strategic guidance. Beyond her legal expertise, Betsy is deeply committed to serving her community, volunteering on several nonprofit boards and giving her time to causes that improve the lives of others. In recognition of her exemplary service and approach to law, Betsy was honored with the Gwyneth B. Davis Public Service Award in 2020 by the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys. Betsy resides in Durham with her spouse and two teenagers, where she enjoys spending time with her family and contributing to the local community.
